Our Journii Cleaning – Terms and Conditions
Services Provided
Our Journii Cleaning offers residential and commercial cleaning services based on the service package selected. Specific services will be confirmed during the booking. Any additional services requested may be subject to extra fees.
Client responsibilities
To ensure safety and effectiveness of our services:
Clients must provide clear access to the property, including keys or codes if applicable.
All valuables and breakables should be stored securely before the cleaning team arrives
Running water, electricity, and safe working conditions must be available on site.
How to prepare for your cleaning appointment:
Tidy Up Personal Items. Our cleaners focus on cleaning — not organizing (unless previously agreed upon). Clearing away clothing, toys, paperwork, and other personal items allows us to spend more time deep cleaning surfaces rather than moving items around.
Clear Surfaces Where Possible. Kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, and tables are key areas we clean. The more accessible they are, the more thorough we can be.
Secure Pets. We love pets, but for their safety and our team’s efficiency, it’s best to keep them in a separate area during the cleaning.
Communicate Your Priorities. Every home is different. Let us know what matters most to you — whether it’s bathrooms, floors, or high-touch areas — so we can focus our time where it counts.
Provide Access. Ensure we have a clear way to enter your space at the scheduled time. This helps us stay on schedule and maximize your cleaning time.
Make Note of Special Requests. If there are areas that need extra attention or should be avoided, let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Plan for Time & Space. If you’ll be home during the cleaning, that’s completely okay! Just know that moving between rooms may be necessary as we work efficiently through the space.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please note the following:
Cancellations: must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service time.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee
Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in service suspension.
If Our Journii Cleaning needs to cancel or reschedule due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and rebook at your convenience. Or if allowed, we will send another cleaner to take the last cleaners place.
Payment Terms
Our Journii Cleaning currently offers two types of cleans:
Basic Maintenance and Deep cleans. Prices vary and depend on many factors, such as size, current condition and if it is maintained regularly.
Commercial cleaning prices vary. Connect with us to determine the price and package best suited for your business.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Accepted payment methods include e-transfer or cash. (e-transfer is preferred)
Late payments are subject to a $25 late fee after 5 business days. And future bookings are subject to suspension.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not satisfied with our work:
Please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment
Please let the cleaner know before they leave if you would like something redone to ensure it is cleaned properly before we leave.
We understand that cleaners make mistakes, but if we deem that our satisfaction guarantee term is to be taken advantage of, we will suspend all future cleans.
Damage or Breakage
Our team takes care to avoid any damage. However, accidents can happen:
Please report any concerns to us within 24 hours.
Our Journii Cleaning is insured, and valid claims will be addressed appropriately.
Photos & Videos for social media
We may take before-and-after photos or videos of spaces to showcase our work:
No personal or identifying information will be shared.
Photos/videos are used strictly for promotional and marketing purposes (website, social media, brochures etc.)
If you prefer your space not to be photographed or filmed for promotional services, please connect with us before the clean.
We take before-and-after photos/videos to ensure transparency of pre-existing damages, damages made by us, or to ensure completion of space.
Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:
Unsafe conditions are present.
There is harassment, discrimination, or abuse towards our staff.
The work environment does not meet basic health and safety standards.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. All client information is kept confidential and is only used to provide cleaning services or to communicate with you.
